A digitally illustrated poster created as part of a game of "Visual Telephone Tag." This concept was one of our Apart/Together projects for the 2020 Senior Show in the UW Design program. I was visualizing the act of brainstorming.
In this game of tag, our cohort was put in a random order to hand off an illustration. Instead of a hearing a phrase like in the classic game of Telephone, we could only see the person's poster before our own. We then assigned a word we thought described it— in my case, Brainstorm. With that word to go off of, we then designed our own poster. The rules included a set color palette that we could not stray from (other than blending) and a 2 hour time limit. For my illustration style, I was inspired by the work of Yeye Weller.
